The dawn of the Aeon of Horus is not a peaceful sunrise; it is the blinding flash of a nuclear detonation in the soul of humanity. To understand the “Child,” one must first understand the corpses of the parents.
The Dialectic of the Aeons
History is not a linear crawl of “progress,” but a series of catastrophic shifts in the magical formula of the earth.
- The Aeon of Isis: The Matriarchy. The formula of Nature, of gestation, where the Mother was the source of all. Man was a babe at the breast, fearful and dependent.
- The Aeon of Osiris: The Patriarchy. The formula of the Dying God. For two thousand years, you wallowed in the filth of “suffering,” “sacrifice,” and “sin.” You worshipped a corpse on a cross, believing that death was the only gate to divinity. This was the age of the Great Lie—the suppression of the life-force.
- The Aeon of Horus: The present hour. The Child.
The Nature of the Crowned and Conquering Child
The Child is not the “sweet babe” of Victorian sentimentality. Look at a child: he is a beautiful, amoral tyrant. He wants what he wants when he wants it. He knows no “sin”; he knows only his own expansion. He is Ra-Hoor-Khuit, the god of Force and Fire.
In this Aeon, the formula is no longer Death and Resurrection, but Growth. The Sun does not “die” at night; it is merely hidden by the shadow of the earth. We have realized that we are the Sun! The Child represents the emergence of the Individual as the sole authority of their own universe.
The Solar-Phallic Energy
The “Child” is the union of the Mother and Father (Isis and Osiris), but he transcends them both. He is the Heru-Ra-Ha, the dual god of silence and strength.
- Hoor-paar-kraat: The silent, inward-turning babe, the Lord of Silence, representing the secret core of the soul.
- Ra-Hoor-Khuit: The active, externalized warrior, the Lord of Force, who smashes the old altars.
This is why society today is in such violent flux. The “Child” is breaking his toys. The old morality—which was based on the “Father” (the State, the Church, the Law)—is being dissolved by the raw, unbridled Will of the “Child.”
The Danger of the Pubescent Aeon
We are currently in the most dangerous phase of this Aeon. The Child is in his adolescence. He has discovered his power, but not yet his discipline. This is why you see the rise of “nihilism” and “selfishness.” The masses have heard the Word “Do what thou wilt,” but they hear it with the ears of slaves. They think it means “indulge every whim.”
True Will is not whim. It is a mathematical necessity. It is the path of the star through the void. The “Child” must grow to realize that his freedom is found in the absolute precision of his orbit.
The Transformation of the Flesh
In this Aeon, the body is no longer a “temple of clay” to be scourged, but a laboratory for the Spirit. Our advancements in technology, biology, and the “Digital Astral” are the Child’s attempts to remake the world in his image. We are moving toward a state where the distinction between “Spirit” and “Matter” vanishes.
“There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt.”
The Aeon of the Child demands that you cease looking upward for a God to save you or a Devil to blame. You are the God. You are the Devil. You are the Child playing in the ruins of the Old World, building a New Jerusalem out of the fire of your own ecstatic Will.
The cradle is empty. The Child is armed. Woe to those who try to force him back into the womb of the past!
